Patricia Byrne lives in Limerick and writes poetry, fiction and nonfiction. She is a graduate of the MA (Writing) programme from NUI Galway and a member of the Killaloe Hedge School writer group. Her short fiction is included in the anthology Town of Fiction (2009) from the Atlantis Collective of writers.

Her annual reviews of Irish theatre and literature have been published in New Hibernia Review and The Journal (Australia).

Patricia's poetry has been published in a wide range of journals and anthologies. She won the Dromineer Poetry Prize and was a prize-winner in the Francis Ledwidge poetry competition.

This is her first poetry collection.
